Privacy policy

PedIT is a learning portal that can be used on computers and handheld devices. In addition, PedIT has an app that is used in conjunction with LMS in some solutions.

This version of PedIT is licensed to a customer, Norsk Nettskole that is a partner in the project “Future teacher”.

The customer is the supplier of the content in this learning platform and in the associated app. The customer has its own version of PedIT, and possibly its own app for handheld devices. However, PedIT AS is still the supplier, and the customer, in collaboration with PedIT AS, is responsible for the privacy policy for the individual installation.

The text below is provided by PedIT to inform about data processing and privacy.

Personal data

How?

Each partner is responsible for one output but all partners have are responsible to complete and take part in the whole project. While writing the application all outputs have been discussed. The partner with the most expertise in that specific output has been given the responsibility. All partners set out the lines together during project meetings. The partner works further and reports to the different partners on a regular base. Each output will be testet by teachers of the pilot group. Between the face to face partner meetings we will have online meetings.

5.1 Year 0 analysis phase

Before the start of the project the partners have already gathered continuous feedback on the use of the digital competences of the users (teachers) and from the experience of the partners in the different countries. Based on this list we draw an ambitious action plan to realize during the project.

5.2 Year 1 conceptualization phase

Based on the results in the analysis phase we create a measurement tool "The Digital Thermometer" and we create a list of functionalities and enhancements we need within the tools in the project. The Digital Thermometer will provide the user with an indication how the competences are improving. The results of The Digital Thermometer will provide the project partners with input on the digital competences of the target group. To keep track of the improvements the users can keep using The Digital Thermometer after the project is finished. The tool will be open for everyone according to the rules set out in the Erasmus+ programme guide. All outputs are freely available during the course of the project and after.

With the Digtal Thermometer we measure the digital competences of our target group, teachers in adult education. However we will develop the thermometer in a way that it can be used for everyone who wants to measure their digital skills, so also other teachers or even students. Based on the outcomes of The Digital Thermometer we will develop The Digital Compass which also can be used by each user (teacher). The Digital Compass will be the path that the teacher should follow (The Digital Journey) to be a Teacher 3.0 and get the certificate.
Also the Digital compass and Digital Journey will be developed so they can be used in the end by everyone. They can easily be adjusted to other target groups. When developing content we will mark this as ‘only for adult education’ or ‘useful for everyone’.
Based on the outcomes of The Digital Thermometer we will develop The Digital Compass that also can be used by each user (teacher). The Digital Compass will be the path that the teacher should follow to become a Teacher 3.0 and get the certifcate.

5.3 Year 1 development phase

First part of the development of the Digital Thermometer, Digital Compass, Digital Journey and necessary tools.

5.4 Year 2 development and pilot phase

Continuation of the development phase followed by the pilot phase. The pilot phase allows us to adjust the tools based on user feedback prior to a larger scale implementation. The created tools will first be tested by the partners and then by a selected pilot group of teachers who are experienced in using tools and a group of teachers who never worked with the tools. The pilot group consists of teachers in adult education from the various partners. We will launch a call for this pilot group through our newsletters. Each partner disseminates on a regular basis a newsletter and also through social media (Facebook / Twitter) will be posted a call. As a teacher from another education candidate states that we will also bring these cases, but the focus is on teachers in adult education. The final outputs will be made available for all levels of education. We also allow as many participants from each partner to the pilot group.

The Digital Journey will provide online training for the target group, content and feedback on different digital competences necessary to develop media rich enhancement e-content. For example a Digital Journey on how to use multi-media materials such as images, audio and video. The content of the Digital Journey will be created for beginners and advanced teachers and will be available in 3 languages.

5.5 Year 3 implementation and multiplication phase

We will produce open online modules, nano-lessons (a short online lesson about 1 topic less dan 5 minutes, pushed to the learner) and tutorials for the teachers to learn how to use the digital tools properly. The definitive version of the tools, the tutorials and manuals will be implemented in a 5 day training program and disseminated by the multiplier event. We organise Friday Talks, (monthly webinars from an hour) that will cover different topics from the Digital Journey.
The Digital Thermometer, Compass and Journey will also be free available in a online version after the project is finished in the 3 languages.

NB  The Digital Journey consists of the Digital Thermometer, The Digital Compass, content (all kind of (nano) modules, distance education and the Teacher 3.0 certificate
